Dear Global Business Enthusiast,
Michael Michelini (@michelini) here. You’re getting this email because you requested my periodic thoughts on international business from Hong Kong.[Edit: Actually, it’s possible that you’ve never gotten an email from me. Somebody might have just given you the link to this page, which is an online archive of an email that I sent to folks who had asked for it. If you’d like to get articles like this in your inbox, totally free, about once a week or two, give me your email address.]
First time to send out a newsletter, hope you enjoy – I will try to send out weekly and keep em short – any feedback, just hit reply!
My friend Julian Lee from Ambilabs in Hong Kong (he was on GFA episode 46) has exceeded their Kickstarter target in less than 1 day, if you’re interested in backing this its still open at and they even have one in Chinese. So proud of these guys!
Bangkok is going to full of amazing people later this week with the DCBKK event hosted by my friends at TropicalMBA. You can check it out on their dedicated event site That event inspired me to start this very podcast at last year. Too bad I can’t make it, but luckily we can follow along on twitter via hashtag #dcbkk
On the Global From Asia blog
We interviewed the Hong Kong science and technology park to get some insights on what programs they have to offer, listen to the podcast with me and Andrew Young (note – stupid me forgot my mic and didn’t remember until I was in their conference room but the sound came out pretty decent anyway!)
Announcing my upcoming book (to launch it November 1) called “Hong Kong Business Supercharged”, if you can share that link to your friends for early bird updates I’d be forever grateful.
Til next time,
