Preparing For The Speakers To Arrive (hyperactive lifestyle example)

Dear Readers,

Can you believe it is in less than 2 weeks now? Our yearly (well it was almost a year and a half now) conference – Cross Border Summit – is Oct 22-23, 2019.

Speakers are already asking the exact step by step instructions on how to get to the venue, the timing of masterminds, of speaking slots, of round table sessions.

Take for example Michael Hartman – he will be sharing on how he added thousands of SKUs to Amazon and also Shopify over the last couple years.

We brought him on the podcast this Tuesday and also chatted after the recording, of his goals in coming. He can’t wait to meet other sellers. He is flying in from Europe and arriving Sunday Oct 20 – to Shenzhen airport (to be honest I may have made a mistake in his flight coordination a few months ago -but Shenzhen isn’t too far from Guangzhou luckily!).

Upon arrival we have him and Howard Thai getting together, and then are seeing if we can squeeze in some meetings with sellers in the conference before driving up to Guangzhou. Just tough as it is a Sunday! Always the hustle here – he lands at 6am local time with his business partner, and has no problem getting off the plane directly to a Chinese FBA seller’s office.

As a creative person here, I’m looking to leverage this – and will be talking to other speakers (such as Patrick Zhang) to see if we can get a small get together in his Shenzhen office on Sunday before heading to the Cross Border Summit venue / hotel in Guangzhou.

Stacking value. Making as many international connections as possible. This is what we are living for here at Global From Asia – to bring together ecommerce and trading specialists from East and West and putting them under one roof.
