1 Month Until Cross Border Summit (+ Heading into Mainland for Biz Devin’)

Dear Readers,

Going past 1 year living outside of China, I am still going strong with China relations! Our Cross Border Summit is 1 month away and I am heading into Hong Kong to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and even Henan (yes, keep on reading).

What’s the agenda?

Business development. With the summit a bit over a month away, will be meeting people in the community about it (some private dinner events for GFAVIP members), checking the venue in Guangzhou, and also speaking at a couple events.

Will be speaking on a panel this Sunday Sept 15 in Shenzhen at a Chinese cross-border ecommerce event about the trade war and the impact it will have on the China / US image and marketing positioning.

Then up to Henan, China to speak on another panel about the trade war again, on Friday Sept 27.

Chances are I will be one of the only, if not the only, foreigner in these events.

Drumming up interest in Alpha Rock Capital Amazon investment.

Shaking the tree for those English speaking e-commerce business leaders to attend our fourth annual Cross Border Summit Oct 22-23.

Realizing this is what makes our positioning different. An American going to a couple Chinese-only events, in China, during the peak of the trade war – and not holding back – speaking how it is, from the hip.

That is what we are doing at Global From Asia – and for some reason Chinese events want an American to share their insights and perspective about this trade war, at this sensitive time.
