Somebody might have just given you the link to this page, which is an online archive of an email that I sent to folks who had asked for it. Business News From Around Asia

Seems ….good, or bad?
Human as we are, we all have the urge to protest to something we don’t agree to. Some protest silently and others do it in a way that many are able to hear or recognize them. Maybe that is what is happening in Hong Kong these days?

A bit of history on this district where the GFA Office is located:
Stories Behind Hong Kong Districts: Tsim Sha Tsui – the Beach that Reached to Become a Major Tourism and Shopping Hub
TST (Tsim Sha Tsui) is a major tourist destination in Hong Kong with many high class restaurants, hotels, shopping center and scenic views. Also known as the most bustling and lively district in Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui’s history is quite the opposite of its current state.

Santa Claus or Big Brother 1984?
China Has Been Building What it Calls “the World’s Biggest Camera Surveillance Network
Across the country, 170 million CCTV cameras are already in place and an estimated 400 million new ones will be installed in the next three years.

The evolution of technology comes with pros and cons. One of the most common cons it has brought is most children are already exposed to mobile phones, tablets, iPad, etc., at an early age. Spending more time playing computer or mobile games means spending lesser time engaging healthy physical activities and too much exposure to these gadgets can cause a serious health problem. Why don’t we engage with some fun outside activities instead?

This is an interview I am slipping in during the holiday season hoping a bunch of people skip past it. Then again, it is those interviews or that kind of content that you are holding your breath on when you publish that gets the most reactions. I was with my friend, lets call him StuCanDo, who wishes to not reveal himself, while I was in Shanghai. We were chatting about some of the story of Global from Asia (GFA) and then thought why not just record this. And – that is how we have today’s show, enjoy!
